Benefits Of Spinal Flow

Spinal Flow Technique by Dr Carli Axford (former Chiropractor) is a powerful gentle modality.  It activates the body’s innate healing ability, to heal itself by releasing Chemical, Physical and Emotional Stress from birth process to present day.

It does this through the Central Nervous System (CNS) the spinal cord, which runs from brain through the spine to coccyx.  This system controls every function of your body.  It (CNS) talks the muscles, ligaments, tendons, skin, organs, glands, brain, arms, legs, heart, lungs, etc and the CNS communicates everything that occurs inside of you.

Spinal Flow Technique works with the person to find their blockages in the 7 Gateways of the Spine and to release them.  This can take several sessions depending on how long the blockages have been trapped/stored in the body.

Starting off with an intake form then I complete a posture assessment of you.  I take photos on Day 1. Then complete the 7 Gateways assessment and explain findings. Then the healing session can start.

It is recommended to have at least three sessions a week, which can mean that you can have more than one session in one day as long as there is at least one hour between sessions.    On the 12th week (not 12th session) of sessions photos are taken again along with gateway and posture assessment.  There can be many, many sessions to fully heal. And then maintenance sessions stretched further apart.

The aim is to see feel changes at each session.  In order, for the body to heal, it needs to be out of Fight/flight mode (sympathetic) and living in the Rest and Digest mode (parasympathetic) where your body will be able to start to function to restore you to health and wellbeing.

Some examples of:

Chemical Stress
Drugs, alcohol, cigarettes, vaping, MSG, sugar, gluten, dairy, candles, household cleaners, personal products, environmental toxins, food.

Physical Stress
Bending, twisting, lifting, sleeping positions, poor posture, excess sitting, accidents, trauma, falls, sporting injuries, childbirth being delivered, and giving birth, cracking of joints.

Emotional Stress
Trauma, bullying, physical abuse, sexual abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, finance issues, relationship triggers, replaying of memories of past traumas or resentments, holding onto stories that do not serve us, negative thoughts, beliefs from childhood, work stress.

So as you can see there can be a huge buildup of stress in our bodies, depending on age, circumstances and lifestyle choices.

If this intrigues you, and are you keen to invest in your health to healing, please get in contact with me, so I can meet with you to see if I am able to help you.
